REMINDER
about freight damage claims
WDDC packages product to ensure it is free of damage upon
arrival to your location. Seasonality and geographical location
will dictate the packaging techniques used for our product so
that you are able to receive the order efficiently and damage
free.
Upon receiving a shipment from WDDC, please be sure to
inspect for any signs of damage that may have occurred during
shipping
before
signing the waybill. If there are any signs of
damage please notify the driver and request a
claim inspec-
tion to be performed by the freightcarrier.
If you suspect
any damage at all, please sign the waybill “DAMAGED” as most
companies do not want their drivers waiting around while you
inspect each package and the product inside.
If after the driver leaves and upon removing the packaging
some damage is noted, it is important to keep the original pack-
aging, your copy of the waybill and contact WDDC’s Customer
Service Department within 24 hours of receipt of product (877-
746-9332). This will enable Customer Service to contact the
carrier and request a “hidden damage” inspection. All packag-
ing, product, and the waybill must be kept on hand until the
inspection and pending claim is approved. WDDC will contact
the freight company to process a claim based on the waybill
indication (as damaged) or the inspection after the fact. Your
assistance to provide information for a quick and proper claim is
extremely important to a successful claim.

I graduated Centralia College in London, Ontario from their Veterinary Technology program in
1993. After graduation, I moved to Winnipeg to start working at my first small animal clinic.
From 1995-2000 I began my journey into many different aspects of veterinary practice, starting
as a Vet Tech locum service which took me to Vancouver, Northern Manitoba, Jasper Alberta,
Drayton Valley, and then back to Winnipeg.
In 2001, I started my sales career with Medi-Cal pet nutrition, from there I enjoyed many years
with McCarthy and Sons out of Calgary and then moved to England where I worked for IDEXX
travelling the southern England and London territory selling Capital Equipment. After our first
son was born, we moved to Calgary to carry on as the Calgary/Southern Alberta rep for McCarthy
and Sons. In December 2013, we moved back to Winnipeg to be closer to family. Now, with a
husband and 3 children, I am pleased to be working part-time for WDDC as the Manitoba Client
Services Representative. WDDC has a great reputation for excellence in customer service,
accuracy, and efficiency within the Manitoba Veterinary Community.
Personally I enjoy horseback riding, spending time with our Black Lab, Ranger and just being
outside with friends and family doing whatever.
